When animals are in crisis, we go.

Our Mission

Rescue is where we start, not where we stop.

MMGR was built for the moments when animals cannot wait: after a disaster, in a cruelty case, in a community without a veterinarian, in a shelter past capacity.

We stabilize, treat and rehabilitate. Then we stay long enough to leave something behind: trained local caregivers, educated communities and, where it helps, animals who go on to help people heal.

Why It Matters

Suffering is preventable

Most animal suffering is not an accident. It comes from neglect, exploitation, lack of care and lack of knowledge. Each of our programs targets one of those causes, so that the next crisis is smaller, or does not happen at all.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Healing goes both ways

Animals who have been rescued and rehabilitated can become extraordinary partners for people living with trauma, illness or loneliness. Our animal-assisted therapy work brings the two together, with the welfare of the animal always coming first.
